Trains4U is one of the largest Model Railway specialists in the east of England
Occupying an 1800 square foot showroom spread across 2 floors, they offer thousands of products from over 80 manufacturers.
Trains4U was formed in July 2004 in response to the closure of the last Model Railway shop in Peterborough the previous year.
Opened by a father and son team with a small stock of Hornby, Bachmann, Peco, Gaugemaster and Fleischmann products in a 900 sq ft unit in Peterborough's St' David's Square trading estate.
Demand for their products and services was unprecedented and they quickly diversified into N gauge, DCC and slot cars, whilst expanding the range of suppliers to provide more models, scenic materials, tools and paints.
All stock of railway rolling stock and slot cars are displayed in large glass cases for easy browsing.
As well as a huge range of new stock from all the major manufacturers there is also a great selection of pre-owned model railway locomotives, rolling stock and buildings in OO, N & O gauge, plus many rummage boxes full of used accessories and scenic materials. Pre-owned items arrive on a weekly basis, so the stock is constantly being added to.
There is also a wide range of Paints glues solvents, scenic and weathering products, and just about every tool you will need for your modelling sessions.
They offer various services including DCC fitting, general service and repairs for your cherished models and a weathering Services.
